At present, the fuel consumption level announced by China's auto manufacturers is basically a theoretical fuel consumption or equivalent fuel consumption that is very favorable to them, and the diversification of standards makes it difficult for ordinary consumers to judge their true energy-saving performance.

After the “Regulations” are formally introduced, automobile manufacturers or import car dealers must test the fuel consumption according to GB/T19233 Test Method for Fuel Consumption of Light Vehicles, which is designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Imported cars can also be used. The quality inspection department designates the testing agency to perform fuel consumption testing to obtain fuel consumption data.

Required to be reported before placing on the market
