According to the report from Buffalo Grove, they got a call about a fire in an attached garage at 398 Hawthorne Road. When they arrived, there wasn't any visible sign of fire initially, but as soon as the first unit checked the area, they discovered that the house was filled with smoke. They immediately decided to cut through the garage door to get access and quickly extinguished the flames through that opening before venturing inside the house. It didn’t take long for them to bring the fire under control. Here’s what happened next, along with some images and a short video taken from the scene.
