This message comes from Dan McInerney: A 2012 Ford F-450 chassis with a 2013 Medtec Type I ambulance is now in service as Ambulance 613, based out of Station 1. This unit has replaced the older Unit 614, which was a 2003 Ford E-450 with a 2004 Type III Wheeled Coach body.   New 2012 Ford F-450/2013 Medtec Type I for Oak Park Ambulance 613. The Type I configuration offers better maneuverability and fuel efficiency compared to the older Type III models.
