The new 613 is part of a fleet modernization effort by Oak Park Fire Department. It's great to see them upgrading to a more modern and efficient ambulance design. The Type I configuration offers better maneuverability and fuel efficiency compared to the older Type III models. These changes are likely aimed at improving response times and overall emergency care capabilities. The photos captured by Dan McInerney give a nice glimpse into the department’s current setup and ongoing improvements.
