On Monday morning, January 4, 2016, firefighters from Des Plaines responded to a house fire at 441 Dulles. Upon arrival, units encountered heavy smoke coming from a split-level home. The incident was initially classified as a working fire and the alarm was upgraded to Code 4. However, the fire was already under control before the additional crews arrived, and they were soon released back to service.
