I responded to a fire this afternoon on December 6, 2017. The incident involved two 2.5-story frame buildings. There was heavy fire in the original structure and the attic of the building to the north that was exposed. Firefighters deployed five hand lines and two master streams. The address was 6752 South Lafayette.

This was a challenging response with multiple units working together to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading. It's always impressive to see the coordination and effort from the firefighters on the scene. These photos give a real sense of what it looked like during the event.
