ASTM A210 Specification for Seamless Carbon Boiler Tubes
ASTM A210 is a standard that covers seamless steel boiler tubes and superheater tubes, primarily made from medium carbon steel. These tubes are used in various applications, including safe-end tubes, arch tubes with minimum wall thickness, and support tubes. The manufacturing process follows a seamless method, and the final product can be either hot or cold worked. Surface conditions can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
The delivery condition of the tubes includes annealed, normalized, or normalized and tempered states. Surface treatments such as oil immersion, varnish coating, passivation, phosphating, and shot blasting are available. These tubes are suitable for use in high, medium, and low-pressure boilers, as well as other pressure-containing systems.
