Principle: The PSA oxygen generation process involves gas diffusion and adsorption into zeolite molecular sieve (ZMS). Nitrogen is preferentially adsorbed by ZMS under high pressure, while oxygen is released at low pressure during regeneration. Oil-free compressed air enters one of two adsorption towers filled with ZMS. Nitrogen is captured in the ZMS pores, leaving oxygen as the product gas. When one tower becomes saturated, it is depressurized to regenerate the ZMS, allowing the other tower to continue operation, ensuring a continuous flow of oxygen. 4.
