Recently, a high-temperature gasification experimental device co-developed by Wanbei Coal-fired Huaihua Group Co., Ltd., Anhui University of Science and Technology and Nanjing Normal University began construction at Anhui Huaihua Group.
The device utilizes Huaihua's industrialization technology, human resources and complete public facilities, and the basic research advantages of Anhui University of Science and Technology in high-ash melting point coal gasification. It has now been included in the Huainan Science and Technology Plan project. The gasification temperature of the device is up to 1600 °C. The gasification of entrained-bed coal gasification of high-ash-melting-point coal is mainly studied in view of the high-temperature gasification industrialization problem of coal ash, which is common in China. The new process is an indispensable key link in the solid fuel gasification such as coal, and is widely used in nitrogen fertilizer, chemical synthesis, civil gas, power generation and other fields, which can open up a feasible path for gasification technology upgrading of coal chemical companies in China.
After the device is built, it can overcome the gasification problems of high-ash-melting-point coal species and explore a shortcut for industrial production. Moreover, experiments can also be conducted on high-temperature gasification of mixed raw materials, carbon deposition, and biomass gasification. This result not only fills in the research gap in the field of high-temperature gasification in China, promotes the adjustment of China's coal chemical industry structure and greatly enhances industrial competitiveness, but also has a certain environmental protection effect, and has a higher promotion and application value.
