[China Building Materials Network] The product designer from Kyoueidesign, Okamoto City, recently designed the weight of the lighting. This design hopes to visually show those invisible weights. The designer loaded the bulb into 16 unfilled bags. To measure the weight of the bulb, a stone was weighed on the other side. During the Tokyo Design Week 2011, this design was exhibited at the (SHOP) exhibition as part of the designtide event.

Alumina Ball 40

Alumina Ball is widely used in ceramic, paints, color, cement, coating, refractory material, pharmaceutical, chemical, mine industry etc. The advantages are super hardness, high density, low wear loss, regular shape and good corrosion-resistance etc.

Our alumina ball is made of α alumina (α aluminium oxide, the most thermodynamically stable form) by cool isostatic pressing and fired at a very high temperature in the tunnel kiln. Alumina balls are lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel balls and can withstand high temperatures up to 1750°C.

The Ceramic Ball is the most widely used catalyst and adsorbent bed support media in refining, petrochemical, and gas processing applications, with unmatched impact resistance, thermal shock, crush strength and survivability. In hydroprocessing, the operational condiions are very demanding, both in temperature and pressure. Our ceramic ball is designed to withstand these conditions and provide optimal performance in all hydroprocessing conditions.
